The welcome we received from the owner was very good. The beach location of the property was magnificent and just a minutes walk across the road to a dog friendly beach. A great location to everything that we needed. We didn't move the car for the whole weekend. The cottage was clean and very warm. I would definitely recommend this for a relaxing break.

This was one of the best cottages we have stayed in over the years and so convenient for the promenade and town centre.

An excellent location right near the beach, good size garden and a warm well presented cottage. All information and photos were correct and as we found it; the cot, stair gate and high chair were available to use, and were all in good condition. A lovely little cottage in a place we really enjoyed - thanks!

Liked where the property was situated, one minute from a dog friendly beach and a ten minute stroll to the town centre. There was also a small enclosed garden for the dog and private parking bay at the front of property.

We were very close to the sea and we really liked being able to walk out and not have to use the car. We would recommend this property to any couples wanting a quiet holiday within walking distance of the sea and the shops.

Locality, cleanliness of accommodation. Dog friendly accommodation, this is sometimes hard to find for 2 dogs. Car parking facilities, quietness of location whilst being close to all amenities and beach. Books, games, DVD's lots of entertainment for all ages.

We loved the proximity to the beach and being able to walk into Bridlington centre in just a few minutes. The cottage was lovely, bigger than we'd anticipated too. We felt at home.

The holiday cottage was fabulous, a real gem! The closeness to the promenade and the beach was excellent. Cottage was comfortable, clean, spacious and felt like home from home. The owner was very friendly and welcomed us and showed us around. She had even left some milk and muffins for us!

The location of this cottage could not be better, a 2 minute walk across the road to the beach but still so quiet in the evenings and mornings. The facilities in the cottage were spot on, a real home-from-home, with everything you could need, including a good selection of DVD's, games, etc. The car enjoyed a break from the usual holiday driving as everything was close enough to walk to!

We liked every aspect of the holiday. The cottage itself was very comfortable and in a very good position, across from the beach and a nice stroll into Bridlington town. We would certainly recommend it to friends and family and hopefully return next year.

This was a well presented, very convenient cottage with its own car space. Excellent for 1 dog with its own small garden. The Ship Inn at Sowerby is dog friendly and serves good food.

Just the right distance away from town, easy enough to walk to but far enough away so your not in it. Beach is only over the road and lovely promenade to walk on. Accommodation is comfortable and private and we were made to feel really welcome by the owner, on our arrival. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

There were sea views from both bedrooms and it was literally a stone throw away from the promenade. The cottage was warm, cosy and a pleasure to return to.

The location of the property was excellent for the beach and spa. The cottage was very comfortable, we have visited Bridlington on numerous occasions before but we found this property to be of a high standard and in a very nice setting.

The property was in a quiet area of town but was still within walking distance of all local amenities. The property was also ideal as a base from which to visit various market towns and to explore the beautiful countryside.

Quiet location but within yards of the beach and a short stroll to the town centre. The property was warm and cosy. This was a late booking but the whole process was quick and easy.

A lovely property perfectly located for access to the beach, whilst being set far enough away from the main road so not to notice any traffic. The accommodation was more than adequate for the three adults, baby and dog in our party.

This cottage is lovely! We have stayed here twice now both in February once this year and once in 2014. The cottage is beautifully decorated and clean. It has everything you need in it. The location is fantastic a stones throw to the beach, near bridlington spa. We can't recommend this cottage enough as a family with a toddler and a dog it is perfect. We hope to make this an annual stay for us as we love it so much.

Nice warm and comfortable cottage spotlessly clean and ideal situation. One minute from dog friendly beach ten minute stroll to town centre.Perfect if you want to take a dog with you an enclosed garden and a private parking bay right at the front door. One small gripe would be that the kitchen is only small with very little work top space which is fine for making snacks but if you want to self cater main meals it becomes more difficult.Although in fairness there are plenty of eating places close by.

Woodcroft Cottage is a sylish, comfortable cottage with everything you would need for a great time. Met at the door by the owners to a warm welcome was a perfect start. Parking too! a real bonus. A small enclosed garden makes it safe for children and pets. With the beach across the road and Bridlington Spa Theatre and the harbour a stroll away it is perfectly located. There is plenty to see within a short drive away, coastal resorts of Scarborough, Flamborough and Filey and for the bird lovers Bempton Bird Sanctuary. Further afield but well worth a visit is the Yorkshire Wolds and North Yorkshire Moors, fabulous for keen walkers. A real find!

A lovely little cottage with all you need for a family holiday. Everything has been thought of from fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and a lovely big sofa to relax on. Good selection of toys, games, dvds, books etc for the evenings. A minute walk across to the beach so the car gets a rest too!! Lovely friendly owner and friend who sowed us round on arrival - milk for a cuppa and a cake each waiting in the fridge :-)

We had an amazing week in Bridlington - the cottage is lovely well situated near the Spa Theatre and only 10 min walk away from the main town Centre. Sue the owner is lovely and showed us around. The beds are really comfy, shower and bath spot on, and the cottage is very cosy whilst retaining a spacious feel to it. We took our dog who absolutely loved it, and the main beach is only 2 mins walk away !!! so ideally situated, with the main dog beach only a 5 min walk away. We will probably stay here again when visiting Bridlington as it was so handy for town, the beach, everything. Lovely walks around Bridlington we particularly enjoyed the walk to Sewerby on the cliff tops and the dog enjoyed running around Sewerby gardens! The pub the Ship Inn allows dogs to eat with you in the restaurant and this was superb!! Wonderful place, wonderful cottage, we will return! Many thanks for a wonderful stay. Apart from the weather which was horrible the cottage was everything we had expected and ideal for just the 2 of us.Was a bit dubious when booking as it does allow a dog and from previous experience where dogs have been allowed we have had signs and smells of them but this cottage was spotless and smelt wonderfully fresh and is a credit to the owners. As we usually take a short break around March each year we would certainly book the cottage again and certainly recommend it to other 10 out of 10 for value/comfort/cleanliness/ease of check in/location and service
