The village has excellent local services including a village shop, coffee shop, post office, pubs and hotels and it also has its own Tourist Information Centre and gift shop. We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The cottage was more than a home from home and we would use this site and cottage again. The cottage was very central to where we wanted to visit with shops and a pub on our doorstep. The house was always warm, welcoming and spotless, 10 out of 10.

The location of the property was excellent, as well as the facilities in the nearby village. The cottage itself was well equipped, very nicely furnished and impeccably clean on our arrival.

The cottage was very clean, quiet and comfortable, and in an excellent position for visiting lots of areas of the West Coast of Scotland. It had beautiful views and there was a Co-operative store close by which stocked all the food you needed for self catering.

We very much enjoyed the mountain views from the property and we also liked the convenient situation and access provided by the cottage. Nothing was far away, whether we wanted a bar meal or a loaf of bread. Whether we toured north, south or east.

A perfect location to explore Glencoe and its surroundings. The village has a shop, cafe and pub, which are just on the doorstep. The cottage is spotlessly clean and very well presented. I wouldn't hesitate to return to enjoy it again.

This is a great cottage which is equipped to the highest standard. It is very warm and cosy and the back garden is ideal if you have a dog. The main bedroom is spacious and we had very good nights sleep. There is no internet, which did not bother us, but if you need it you can get wi-fi in the pub. The village is a great place to make a base for touring and exploring. There is a friendly pub which serves excellent meals over the road and the cooperative store has a wide range of goods. Although we didn't use it the village has a very good bus service. Glencoe is only minutes away and Fort William is about half an hour. Oban is less than an hour. The views of the mountains from the village are outstanding, and it is wirth a walk under the road bridge to the loch. An excellent holiday.

Just spent a week at Angus Crescent, what a fantastic holiday. What a beautiful little place to stay, and what a fantastic location.I was on my own, so was a bit nervous incase it was remote, it was actually just a short stroll from a lovely pub (not noisy), which did meals.the information centre, and co-op store was also a short stroll away, the info centre also had a lovely little coffee shop, fantastic cakes! The cottage was spotless throughout, and really cosy on some cold evenings. I had my 2 dogs with me, which the owner kindly allowed me to bring. The back garden was totally enclosed, so dogs were safe to be let out. The furnishings were lovely. There were some lovely walks from the cottage, but Fort William was about 20 mins away, Glencoe just 5 mins away, all with great walks, and sightseeing. All in all I would 100% recommend you to stay here, already looking to book again!

Had a wonderful week long stay in Ballachulish with a few friends on a mountaineering trip. The cottage was perfect. Very tidy, warm, perfect recources. And very friendly host who couldn't have done more if we asked her to but also knew how to keep her space self-sufficient so the trip was very private to us and relaxed. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at angus crescent in February and appreciated all the comforts of a very warm and cosy property. Parking was easy right outside and the mountain views particularly from the bedrooms quite lovely. Its opposite a most accommodating pub with a very fair bar menu and we were there as the new co op supermarket opened just round the corner. Fort William is not far to the north and touring anywhere in Scotland is within relative ease as ballachulish is literally just off the main route from tyndrum to the north.

We can not recommend this property highly enough. It was well above excellent. Everything was in excellent condition, excellently kept, very clean and the garden was immaculate; they had thought of everything. The village was very quiet and the neighbours were friendly and sociable. You really could not find better accommodation.
July 2016
The house was perfect, one of the very best places we have stayed in the Highlands. A great location too.
