The location of 5 Bruath Y Bragwr was great, on the out skirts of Carmarthen. Was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would recommend and would stay again.

A beautiful cottage which had a relaxing atmosphere. Set in gorgeous settings and castle ruins only 5 minutes away. We loved this cottage and would stay again in a heart beat.

This was a great little barn conversion. Was surprised with what it contained, the best shower I have come across with flow and best bath, little baby loved it. It was well equipped and thought out. Great TV and kitchen and great views, I thought it was pretty clean overall too. Had a nice entrance hall and space for the pram and dogs bed with places to hang clothing and a warm utility room for drying, for me, perfect. Deceptive as the low overall height of the building is not an issue inside with high beamed ceilings in the bedrooms giving a good sense of space.

The area around the cottage is very beautiful. We had a great time with the location making it easy for us to get where we wanted to go. We took bikes and cycled as well as getting out in the car to the waterfalls, Pen Y Fan and on to the beach.

Very nice property - well laid out, quiet and good parking. Friendly people in the village and the pub is a 5 minute walk which also serves good food. Recommended for a short break.

This cottage is ideal for visiting the local area and is in a lovely peaceful village. Very well equipt and clean throughout with all utensils, towels etc provided. Two double bedded rooms, en suite (1 with shower, 1 bath) with lots of space and storage. Definitely recommend considering the value for money.

A book about the history of Led Zepplin in the bathroom, a good start. Clean comfortable and in a great location with views from the garden. Bedrooms really comfortable both with en-suite, great shower in one bedroom large bath in the other (no Jacuzzi). Really comfy sitting room with Sky TV on large screen. Well equipped modern kitchen. Next door to the cottage is a very good restaurant, deli that you have to try. All in all really enjoyable will be back. Steve

My husband and I along with our dog Nuala enjoyed a short break here back in March. It's a lovely comfy house, warm and cosy, spotlessly clean on arrival and with every facility you could want. Would have liked to stay longer and I'd highly recommend this property.

We booked this cottage for September 2014 at the beginning of the year from Sykes Cottages as we had used them before. The location was perfect for us On first impressions it looked fantastic but after a few hours we found that there was no windows downstairs at all. The weather was hot as we were having an "Indian Summer". There are 2 heavy glass doors which are advertised as picture windows in the kitchen and lounge. They look lovely but were useless as they would not open, the frames needed repair because of the weight of the doors . Hence, I was not able to cook. Upstairs, there was no jacuzzi bath as advertised----one of the reasons we booked this cottage. My main worry was that there was no fire escape except for the downstairs front door. The large window in the upstairs bathroom was locked due to faulty handle. We were never contacted by the owners. We left before the week was over. We've 'put it behind us now' and down to experience. I have had no feedback from Sykes and don't expect any either. We won't be booking with them again.

Beautiful little cottage in a wonderfully quiet part of the Welsh countryside. Very well equipped with all you could need away from home.
