Excellent accommodation on a quiet lane, but still within the centre of Masham. It was ideal for walking from the cottage.

Amberley Cottage is a lovely, welcoming and cosy cottage. A real home from home. Very clean and well equipped. Close to amenities of Masham but in a very quiet spot. Parking and a nice safe garden. Downstairs shower room was an added bonus! We enjoyed some tasty meals and drinks in almost all the local pubs/hotels. Friendly hostelries with a typical Yorkshire rustic feel. Nice walks from the doorstep. Masham was a real delight and will definitely return.

The cottage was lovely, and the area was really pretty. The garden was just right for our dog, secure so he could wander around without us worrying. It was a typical English village, had plenty of walks on hand and further afield. In all - a great holiday.

The cottage was homely and cosy. The owner was very welcoming and informative about the area. The location was perfect, and the town was well equipped for all basic provisions. There were plenty of things to see and do in the immediate area. We would definitely visit this area and this cottage again.

The cottage was lovely and ideally placed just off the market square with some delightful walks nearby. The White Bear pub is dog friendly and serves great food and just a few minutes walk from the cottage. The village itself is very pretty with a lovely park just a few minutes from the centre.

This cottage was lovely and not short of anything. It is very cosy and a great place to stay. We were welcomed with a lovely sponge cake , Delicious. The town of Masham is a lovely little town although not much to do but a great place to use as a base. Lovely walks and great pubs which are all dog friendly and serve great food especially the Bruce, Worse service and food was the kings ? hotel in the square.

Just returned home from one weeks stay in this beautiful cottage. Sue the owner is a lovely lady who promptly arrived to sort a small problem we had with the TV. There was a scrummy homemade lemon drizzle cake and a pint of milk waiting for us on arrival which were much appreciated. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and equipped to the highest standard and the bed was soooo comfortable! In spite of the awful weather, the cottage made our stay in Masham an enjoyable one. Thank you so much Sue.

Stayed at Amberley Cottage for a week in February, our first stay in Masham. Cottage was cosy and welcoming. Roomy, well equiped and very clean. The owner had left us a home baked lemon drizzle cake which was delicious and she checked to see if everything was OK on our arrival day. Cottage was very close to local amenities and market square but was very quiet and peaceful. A nice garden and the parking was handy. Masham was a delight with a pub/hotel to suit everyone if you can drag yourself away from the biggest log burner I have ever seen!. All the shops you would need. Nice walks from the cottage and some lovely gems a bit further afield. We went to Hackfall Woods, Fountains Abbey and the Druids Temple. Follied out! Cannot recommend this cottage highly enough.

Stayed for 3 nights midweek break. Couldn't fault the cottage, had everything you would need for a relaxing break, plenty of room and access to Masham village within a 2 minute walk. The village has great real ale pubs, 2 breweries worth visiting, local shops, a lovely church and offers access to plenty of nearby towns and villages. Lovely countryside and walks nearby, we didn't use the car all the time we were there. The owner had baked us a Victoria sponge cake which was a lovely touch and well received. The log burner was very cosy and nice to come back to when we had been out and about. Would definitely visit again, for longer next time to make the most of the area.
