The cottage is lovely and in a lovely village. The warm welcome we received from the owner set our holiday and we had a wonderful break. It is an ideal spot for visiting places like Whitby, York etc. We will definitely be going back.

In a good location for sight seeing with good quality pubs and farm shops nearby. A lovely clean cottage with all the facilities we needed, the open fire was a bonus. The kitchen had good facilities and it was nice to have a fridge freezer, full size oven and dishwasher to use. Had nice comfortable sofas in the lounge and the bedroom was very comfortable and nicely furnished throughout. Ample roadside parking was available.

It was in a sleepy peaceful village in nice surroundings. It was an ideal place to relax and the back got the sun when you needed it. We will go back in the future.

The owners and caretaker were exceptionally helpful and couldn't do enough to help. The cottage was really cosy and in a fabulous location. There was lots of information on places to go with recommendations and we loved having a real fire.
