The Garden room is at the rear of the owners house and approached via a steep unadopted road. The road surface varies between tarmac, concrete and gravel. It would be more correct to say a steep unadopted lane as it also narrow in part. Fortunately we only saw one car on the move as we entered the mews as passing would have been impossible in places.
Once you have arrived, the parking area is clearly marked and there is a path and stepping stones down to the garden room which has a useful boarded area outside the main door and lounge patio doors.
The owners house is found down a path through a small orchard, form which we were told we could help ourselves to lovely cooking and eating apples.
The accommodation is on the small side but well laid out with the shower room near the main entrance and between bedroom and lounge.
We had a minor problem which the owner was quick to attend to. Our only criticism, apart from the steep access road, is that the lounge chairs were small and uncomfortable to sit in for any time.
Finally for this review, the location is near a frequent bus service into Bath and the owners had done well providing details in the buses and where to get on and off.
