The location was fantastic, it was a rural retreat; peaceful and quiet, a walkers bliss. A fantastic property with all you needed, a home from home with a lovely garden. Had good quality outdoor seating and table which were very comfortable, and lots of birds visited the garden. The main bed was huge and very comfortable. Will definitely look forward to going back.

A wonderful cottage which was furnished to a high standard and set in the heart of Pembrokeshire. The wood burner stacked and ready to go was a nice touch, and the garden was in excellent condition. There was lots to see and do in the area, brochures detailing local walks and OS maps of the area were a big help and thoroughly utilized. We would definitely visit again.

We loved the cottage, its situation and enjoyed our holiday very much. thank you to the owners for their co-operation in making it available at such short notice. Sykes were very helpful and we will definitely try to return to that same cottage. Brynberian is our favourite part of Pembrokeshire. Thank you all again.

Wow! A Beautiful cottage. Arrived with a greeting of a bottle of champagne, chocolates, cake and a Christmas tree in the sitting room. A very well equipped cottage and in a beautiful part of Wales. Fantastic views. Great communication with the owner. Over all a lovely week away in a lovely cottage.

We loved the cottage, it was so clean, and everything we needed was in there. It is in a peaceful location, and the field at the side was ideal for dogs. The countryside was great for walks, and there was some lovely places to visit.

The general layout of the property suited our requirements. The location was beautiful and neighbours and postman friendly! Plenty of linen and towels left for us.

A fantastic cottage, beautifully furnished. The gifts of Champagne, chocolates and biscuits was a very generous, thoughtful addition. It was a wonderful 'old fashioned' traditional Christmas in front of the log burner and a beautiful Christmas tree. This cottage is perfect for a family because the lounge was big and comfortable enough for everyone. Also there was an 'escape' area in the snug and a separate study. A cottage we would love to visit any time of the year!!

The location, the cottage and the neighbours. Being able to listen to nature, having a utility room with a boiler warming it to de-robe in (keeping the rest of the house clean), huge kitchen, range cooker, lots of cupboards and a fan heater built into the units to keep feet toasty (took me 2 days to see it - very neat). Comfy leather suite in lounge, freeview tv, ipod dock, wi-fi and wood burner too. Brilliant. 3 good size beds, superking was so comfy, double and twin. En-suite with luxurious slipper bath, shower room downstairs so convenient with large shower cubicle. Even a study/office to plan next days outings on maps provided. Plus mouth-watering lemon cake to greet us on arrival - sad to leave behind. Definitely recommend for getting away from it all! Many thanks.

The cottage and the location were superb, the property had only recently been refurbished and was excellent. The owner should be so proud of their property it was a delight. We will be returning for a longer stay.
March 2016
Lovely quiet location with excellent walks from the door. Very clean and well-presented. The only disappointment was the garden which desperately needed tidying up. Lots of wildlife spotted around the cottage. Bird feeders were provided- a shame they were empty. Once filled the feeders attracted a wide variety of birds including nuthatches and woodpeckers.

This is such a late review as I did not find the listing on tripadvisor until today! I booked with Sykes Cottages, which was quick and painless, I spoke to Miss Twine who helped me when we got lost as the Sat Nav couldn't find it! I really liked the cottage, it was very relaxing, big but cosy, I spent so much time exploring, there was a study and a printer which was really useful as I had an emergency that came up for work whilst I was there. She had pretty much thought of everything, there was milk ready, dishwater tablets, coffee and muffins. I feel bad for the previous poster as we did not have any problem with damp in the house and we wouldn't have changed anything. Oh and I must say, as someone who loves to bake and cook, the kitchen had everything that I could think of that I would need! It is a little bit far from the local amenities but I liked that. I think it was about a 20 minute drive to the Tescos, but they have a brilliant butchers nearby and she breaks down all the local places in a book in the living room. I am hoping to make this a regular place that we visit!

A well decorated cottage, in a great location which was let down by the poor standard of cleanliness and maintenance. The property also suffered from damp which caused some rooms to smell. We booked our cottage through Sykes and were surprised at the five star rating they gave the property and the lack of response from them once we submitted our feedback form reporting the poor standard of the property.
