The house was nice. Simple, but perfect for us (a couple and dog) the kitchen is very tiny and basically equipped, we bought a cheese grater from a local shop and left it there for future guests. It's a shame there are no pictures of the bathroom, I nearly didn't book because of that, but the bathroom is actually lovely and spacious. The views are amazing on a nice day! Unfortunately we didn't have brilliant weather but still... the garden is nice and spacious and enclosed so I was confident my dog was safe. The area is lovely with a few nice walks right from the house, and a pub literally across the road! (That let the dog in too, but make sure you ask before going in)
We didn't see the owner to talk to once, although they were there during our stay as their car kept coming and going (generally quite late at night :/) They didn't speak to us at all and on arrival we just had a few post it notes with messages on, no welcome pack or local information. I called before our stay to ask about key collection and local vet information, the woman wasn't very friendly on the phone either :/
Warning, the hoover is rubbish, if you have a dog, hoover every day to make cleaning easier at the end of your stay, it took me an hour to hoover the tiny amount of carpet because it was a pretty poor hoover...
