We had a lovely long weekend at Brinks. Situated in a peaceful and quiet location with a lovely country pub at the end of the drive. A lovely way to unwind

We liked everything about the cottage and the owners were very friendly and kind to us. The weather was quite cold during our stay but we loved coming back in the evening and lighting the wood burner and enjoying the comfort and warmth of the cottage. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed it immensely. Thanks to the owners for all their kindness.

Everything was as advertised. We cannot praise the cottage enough with its perfect position, comfortable bed and every comfort. To have a pub just down the drive was a great help if one did not wish to cook after a long hike during the day. All in all a very good holiday!

A wonderful location to stay in with walks and lots of wildlife. Brinks and the owners provided us with a perfect weekend. Having a country pub so close is a real bonus, perfect after a hill walk to stop for a drink or food. This is such a comfortable place to stay with a bed that it is very hard to get out of in the morning. Visiting at this time of year was perfect with springlike weather but still chilly evenings to make good use of the log burner. The conservatory was great to sit and read in the sunshine or just look at the views. Definitely want to return to do more walking and explore the area.

We had a lovely long weekend in Brinks. It was very cosy especially with the log burner. The location was beautiful with numerous walks-great for the dog. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. We would definitely like to book again probably for a week next time. Thank you to the owners.

We have just had a lovely week at The Brinks, it really was just like a home from home. Comfortable, clean, great size, and so central for all our needs! And a great little pub at the end of the lane, good food, friendly staff. And lets not forget the chickens, lovely eggs, and very friendly!!! A lovely little welcome pack on arrival too! Many thanks!!

We stayed here for an impromptu visit to Shropshire. It is a fantastic 'home from home' experience with Dan and Jo such great people whose motto surely must be nothing is too difficult. The cottage is very comfortable and spacious and the wood burner is a real treat for what was a chilly weekend. It was lovely waking up to the sound of silence, the only sounds being the chickens in the gardens. The pub at the bottom of the drive was a real find, and the beer and food excellent. I would certainly return to this little piece of heaven, thank you so much for looking after us so well.

A very comfortable and very well equiped cottage in a beautiful spot. It was very dog friendly with a fenced garden area and a tiled porch area just inside the front door. We had a very relaxing 2 days with plenty of local walking plus good food and beer in a pub only two minutes walk away.

We found Brinks by chance and we loved it from the start. This little cottage is beautifully furnished and warm and cosy with a fabulous wood burner. Walks right on the doorstep and a pub a step away make it a perfect place to relax and unwind. There are no shops however so it pays to forward plan. The owners provided a nice touch with a welcome basket with bread, eggs from their own chickens, even some doggy treats for our pet. We stayed over Christmas and loved it all. The quiet location may not suit everyone but if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle then this is definitely the place to chose Thank you for making our stay a pleasure . Must mention the gift of wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary . Thank you

We found the cottage to be just what the pictures looked like, very clean, cosy with nothing missing that made your stay a home away from home visit. Pub just a short walk away which was very friendly, just make sure you bring with you all your food or buy it at one of the towns near by as there is no local shop for that one thing that you've run out of !!!!!! Little or no mobile phone reception which is great for a holiday, wifi was also intermittent. My only bad comment is that there is no shower just a lovely bath with a hand held shower.
