July 2016
The bungalow was first class. The views across to Budle bay from the living room were great. The bungalow was a great place to stay for visiting places of interest and we enjoyed using the garden as did our dog.
Mr Higgins
May 2016
Budle View was extremely well maintained and very comfortable, it was located in an area with easy access to ALL notable sites and both, countryside and coastal points of interest and activity. Will certainly return to this area and, if available, to this particular property
March 2015
The holiday cottage was great and Belford was very central for exploring the district.

Mrs Rodgers
December 2015
Have been 3 times this year and have been going since 2010. I would say that is a fair indication as to why we go to Budle View, plus I take my dog. Overall a great place to stay.
Mrs Chappell
February 2016
We have stayed here twice now, we absolutely love the bungalow and the town of Belford. Budle View is absolutely gorgeous and the back garden is home to a fair bit of visiting wildlife including the red squirrels. Even better, it is very secure so we can let our two dogs run free. The town of Belford is well situated to visit anywhere top end of Northumberland and very close to the beautiful Bamburgh and Beadnell beaches.
Mrs Smith
April 2016
We had a wonderful welcome to the property. The bungalow was very well resourced with excellent access to the area, and its wonderful beaches. It was dog friendly.
Mrs Woolley
May 2016
We have stayed in a lot of holiday cottages up and down the country and without a shadow of a doubt this was the absolute best holiday home we have stayed in. We liked the location, the view and the size of the property. From the 'comfortableness' of it, to the totally secure garden for our dogs, to the very kind neighbour who lives next door, it was an absolute pleasure and we were both very disappointed to have only been staying a week! We will be back for another stay but a longer one next year. It is perfect and 100% recommended.
October 2013
lovely bungalow every you need. Beautiful garden secure for the dog. Easy access to the surrounding castles and gardens.Belford lovely village farm shop and cafe and pub.
January 2014
The cottage was comfortable, warm and very clean. It was in an excellent location for visiting the coast, Holy Island and the many attractions inland. We even had a visit from a red squirrel. There was nothing to dislike and it was excellent for my dog too .We would thoroughly recommend it as a base for discovering this part of the country.
January 2014
I went on a bit in the guest book so will keep it brief, suffice to say that Budle View was the perfect place for two Grand Parents, two parents, two children and an excited Jack Russel to escape to for a long weekend of beach walks, Farne Boat Trips, fish and chip eating and hunkering down to watch Strictly. The games room was a hit with the children and it seems that the owners had thought of everything to ensure a very relaxed and happy stay. Thank you so much!
September 2014
Budle view is a fantastic base for exploring the Northumberland coast. Belford is a lovely village with couple of pubs, little supermarket and a chippy! The cottage is perfect if you have dogs. The garden is completely enclosed. Our dog Star is like Houdini and will always find an escape route but not here! The kitchen is very well equipped, even a spare fridge/freezer in the garage which was great for the booze! Lots of wardrobe space in the bedrooms. The best thing about the cottage is the peace and quiet Priceless!
Mr Walton
December 2014
Great cottage in a fantastic location for Belford, Seahouses and Middleton. There was plenty of room and it was exceptional value for money. Will be recommending to friends and family.

July 2016
Together with my sister and brother-in-law I stayed at Budle View for this last week, traveling home today. This is an excellent place to stay. The property is very spacious with 2 double bedrs and I with bunk beds and cot. There is a large kichen/diner and a fully fitted bathroom. There is a very good farm shop close by and we can definitely recommend the scotch eggs!! Budle View was very clean and well equipped and games and puzzles are provided for wet days. There was a dishwasher and washing machine which we found very convenient. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely part of the country and could as quite easily exchanged homes as we really didn't want to leave.
Mrs Walker
October 2014

June 2014
The location of the cottage is good, very handy for the A1 if you want to sight see, shops within walking distance, yet in a quiet position only about a 10 minute drive to the nearest beach. The cottage is extremely comfortable and a pleasure to return to after trips out. A great cottage in a lovely spot with a smashing view from the lounge, this was our second visit to Budle View.

October 2013
We stayed at Budle View for three weeks last year while our bathroom was being re-fitted. We absolutely loved the cottage and holiday, so decided to stay for a week this year. It is a lovely homely cottage, nothing much had changed which we had expected. We loved our break, and the closeness of the facilities, in particular Bamburgh beach, the local pub The Salmon which is very friendly. We also had Sunday lunch at The Blue Bell which was delicious, and loved the peace and quiet after long days out walking.
Miss Schofield
October 2014
This was the third time we have stayed at this beautiful bungalow, and it was just as we remembered it. The garden is one of the reasons we keep going back as it is perfect for our two dogs, they love the freedom of it and we can relax knowing that they can't get out onto the road. It is the nicest holiday property we have ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly need is there, it is well equipped and the welcome pack gives you all the information you need. The beaches are fantastic, being so flat you can walk for miles without realising just how far you have gone. All In all a fabulous holiday, looking forward to the next one!
Mrs Wright
July 2013

July 2013
We had a fabulous fortnight in Budle View with amazing weather. It is an extremely well-equipped and very comfortable holiday home. The views from the bright lounge are lovely. The rear garden/decking, which had the sun all day and evening, was beautiful and peaceful, a real haven for visiting birds. Our girls were delighted with their room together with the huge variety of lovely books and toys. I would not hesitate to recommend Budle View, and look forward to our return visit which is already booked!

The house itself was just spot on for all our requirements. Belford itself was a pretty village with ample amenities. Ideal location central to so many site especially Bamburgh beach for excellent walks. There was a working quarry just down the road from the cottage but you would never know that it was there. It was a real effort to come home. Would love to go back again.

October 2011
This was by far the best holiday property we've ever stayed in, the house was beautiful. We particularly liked the fact that the garden was completely enclosed as we took our two dogs, it was great just being able to have the door open and know that they were safe to come and go as they pleased. This was the second time we have been to Northumberland at this time of year and both times the weather has been really good. We will certainly be visiting this property again.
Miss Stevenson

December 2011
I've already sent in a review and it is on your website.
December 2012
This was our 2nd visit to this beautiful bungalow, and it lived up to all our memories. The photograph of the outside is very deceiving, it is really spacious inside and well furnished. We went in October and the weather was lovely,We didn't need to wear our coats the whole time we were there. The shops down in the village have all you really need, but there are bigger supermarkets a short ride away. The location to the superb beaches is great, there is no need to travel very far. By far the best feature of this house is the enclosed back garden, it is totally dog proof, we were able to leave the french doors open for our two dogs to come and go as they pleased without constantly having to make sure they were still in the garden, that was a major plus. This is the nicest house we have stayed in and will be visiting again soon.
June 2013
Budle View is a beautiful bungalow, very comfortable and has everything you need. It is an excellent base for visiting Northumberland and during the very, very cold week that we stayed we knew we would be coming back to a warm, cosy house. The red aquirrels in the garden added to the fun. Not great amenities in the local village but you don't need to go far to get what you need.
July 2010
A lovely bungalow with all you needed for a lovely holiday, the garden being secure was ideal for our young dog.
July 2010
A real home from home very comfortable and local information left for us was very useful also the instructions for the equipment in the cottage were good. All together very enjoyable
December 2009
Spacious, comfortable and well equipped house perfectly placed for exploring the Northumbrian coast.
December 2009
We had a lovely week's holiday. The cottage was ideal for young children, with an enclosed rear garden. Comfortable and fully equipped, just like home-from-home. Local supermarket, hostelries and excellent fish and chip shop within easy walking distance. An excellent holiday with no real downside - even the weather was good!
December 2009
Think we stayed Septmber, maybe July? This is a first class property, spacious and with caring owner. Everything to hand- fabulous bathroom and huge kitchen with everything one needs. The area is great. Highly recommended.
December 2009
Lovely comfortable holiday home with plenty of space for a family of six. A large dining kitchen with games room off, was great for the kids. Belford is a nice village with a few shops, pubs and eating out establishments. With Berwick just up the road and the coast within a few miles, makes this an ideal spot at any time. There's nothing that we don't like about this home and Northumberland in general. For those of you who have never been to Northumberland give it a go, you'll love it!
