Wonderfully rural, these comfortable, light and airy cottages are situated on the edge of the national park between the Cheviot Hills and the Northumberland coastline. A firm favourite with families and friends the cottages are a real home-from-home, where you can relax and unwind in tranquil surroundings. They stand on an elevated position outside the village of Milfield, where there is a cosy village pub and a village store. Ideally placed to discover many of Northumberlands hidden gems, they will also suit walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. Waiting for you to explore there are the medieval ruins of Etal and Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh and Alnwick Castles, along with Holy Island and the Farne Islands. The stunning heritage coastline offers pristine, uncrowded sandy beaches, with charming fishing villages and seaside resorts. There is also cycling, horse riding and golf nearby.
