A lovely traditional Irish cottage, set in countryside, very quiet but good situation for touring the beautiful area. The owner was really friendly, lent us ordinance survey maps and a very interesting book about the Irish famine. He does have a fishing boat nearby for use. As I am wheelchair bound all was accessible, he even made a ramp! Altogether a lovely time in Carrick on Shannon, would recommend.

Set in a tranquil area near to Carrick on Shannon, surrounded by fields with two friendly horses as Neighbours!! Owner very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. My husband is wheelchair bound and could easily access the whole cottage, the owner even had a ramp made at the front ready for our stay. The BBQ was very tiny, but as it rained a lot we did not need to use it! Lovely situation for exploring the beautiful hidden spots of this part of Ireland.
