August 2011
A wonderfully located place to stay. Near to many beautiful beaches that were not over crowded and enjoyed many a long walk with our dog. The house is modern and clean - with all the home from home conveniences. The only thing that wasn't made clear to us was the fuel charge. We put 12 euros into the inhouse metre of which we were informed and then we were also charged another 40 euros for fuel by the owners. Rather expensive for a week with hardly any heating used we thought. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay.

October 2014
We stayed for a week in June and had a lovely time once we found the house. It is right at the end of a small spit of land and not so easy to find but you really feel out on the edge of the world. The land lady was fantastic and looked after us very well and was always responsive when we had any questions. There is a credit system for electricity which only cost us about 20 euro or so for the week. The rooms are clean, bright and airy and the house is excellently stocked with everything you could need. Very comfortable and spacious. The back garden is gated which was great for our small children and there is a lovely decking area that catches a bit of sun in the evening where we could sit for a drink after putting the kids to bed. Its only couple of hundred metres to a lovely beach and 'common pasture' area. The water wasn't too cold for our toddler who loved it. The only problem was that there was a bull out loose on the common wandering around with the cattle. On several occasions he was between us and the beach (or too close for comfort/running distance with a buggy) so we had to head straight back home again. The guards said they would sort it out though. It wouldn't put us off staying here again though as we had a super time.

My wife and I stayed here with our two little boys in February 2012. It's a beautiful house with loads of space, great for the family to have a run on the beach. Ideal on a cold night, light a fire glass of wine and read a book once the kids have gone to bed. However there is big BUT we got stung for 250 euros for electricity and heating oil. After speaking to my wife's family who all live in Ireland the majority have said that you would struggle to use that in month let alone a week.
