The Cottage is in a quiet secluded valley on the outskirts of a beautiful village. The local facilities; beaches and supermarket are within easy reach.

We had very warm welcome from the owner and Megan the Sheepdog. The Cottage was very clean and is in an ideal position in the village, there is a good circular walk to the shop and back out again. The road off from the farm is straight onto the main road so you can be out and about in no time. The owners have thought of everything you need for your stay and there is a place for all your belongings.

Friendly hosts and lovely surroundings. It was peaceful quiet at night and everything we needed was supplied in the cottage. Pub was a 10 minute walk away, supplying good food. A comfortable, relaxing holiday. We were also very lucky with the weather, warm and sunny all week!

Cosy, comfortable cottage in lovely relaxing surroundings - the owners and their gorgeous dogs made us feel totally at home while leaving us to our own devices. We got to watch the sheep having their toes trimmed! (quite a novelty for a couple of townies) We wanted somewhere beautiful to crash for a few days, do the odd walk (the moors are not far away, complete with wild horses) and a trip to the beach (Looe is a train ride away and very cute) - this ticked all the boxes.

Spent a lovely relaxing week at this cottage - away from the road and very tranquil. The cottage has everything you need -- kitchen very well stocked with good quality clean equipment and crockery. Efficient cooker and fridge/freezer. Dishwasher was a great advantage. Lovely patio areas at rear and front of the cottage to follow the sun around. Meg (the dog) was a lovely distraction and very well behaved. We were there during bird nesting time and it was lovely to see wagtails feeding babies. Nice 15min walk to the pub and back. Owners were very helpful. A good time was had and the weather helped too.
September 2014
Had a wonderful week, home from home. The proprioters were very friendly and helpful. The relaxation we were looking for we found in abundance.
June 2015
A very well set up cottage, just right for two of us with everything you need to hand. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, dishes etc. Modern shower room and good lounge with room to spread out. NIce to find a pint of milk in the fridge and a pack of biscuits waiting for us. The outside seating is a good suntrap and of course you have plenty of space to throw sticks etc for Meg the dog who hasn't quite learned the art of bringing the stick etc back to you.......rather she would leave it some distance away, maybe trying to tell us we need exercise too! Friendly, helpful owners. The only downside is the fact that the village pub is closed so if we wanted to eat out we had to get in the car rather than walk to the village.
August 2014
Just a super place to go for a relaxing holiday. Really comfortable accomodation with everything you need. Would definitely return.
