Dove Cottage is a single-storey cottage in the village of Acklington near to Warkworth in Northumberland. With one four poster double bed and one twin bedroom (both of which are en-suite), this cottage can sleep four people. The cottage also contains a well-equipped fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining table. To the outside of the cottage is a front garden with outdoor furniture and off road parking for two cars. With a traditional country pub right next door, and the Northumberland coast within a short drive, Dove Cottage is ideally situated for a relaxing holiday all year round.
Acklington is a village located just a few miles from the coast and its near neighbour Warkworth. The River Coquet meanders past the village, with a view from Guyzance Bridge. There is a limited bus and train service to Alnwick, Newcastle and Alnmouth, and the whole of the coast is within easy driving distance.
Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
