This is a really spacious, lovely and warm cottage. Ideal for the dog to keep him safe in the enclosed garden. Accommodation and furnishings are of a much higher grade than what we normally encounter in a rental property. It felt more like home.

The cottage was amazing, want to book again for next year. Malmesbury itself is a beautiful place.

The cottage is so well equipped that it lacked nothing even to a hair drier in the bathroom. It is close to the town of Malmesbury and a fairly easy walk to the center. The shops and eateries are great. We managed to have many days out and interesting places are not that far from Malmesbury. The little courtyard/garden at the back of the property was so useful and a sun trap depending on the time of day. The beds were so comfortable. The shower stall was a plus as there was a tub too. I would love to come back again.

Easter Cottage is a charming and calm house with a restful atmosphere and spacious feel. Many thoughtful touches give a warm welcome. Malmesbury Main Street, with many good local shops, a Co-op Supermarket, eating places and pubs is 5 minutes walk away. We particularly enjoyed Amanda's Restaurant and Bistro which is dog friendly inside and out, and has a lovely garden complete with tame robins. The Abbey and the Abbey Gardens (of Naked Gardener fame) are at the top of the High Street. Clothes optional days available! The Malmesbury locals are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Westonbirt Arboretum (4 miles away) has free guided walks on Wednesdays and is well worth a visit, close by is the Jack Hare Pub with excellent food and the smartest public bar where dogs are allowed at lunch and evenings. There was plenty to see and do just around the town - a lovely riverside walk, a splendid park, we will be back !

This 2 bed cottage is larger than expected with a stunning small courtyard for sitting out in. Lots of lovely touches including a vast array of books and some great games for those wet evenings. Well equipped kitchen and cozy living room. Masses of room for 4 adults.Very well situated for walks around Malmesbury, the wider Cotswolds and the glorious Westbirt Arboretum.

We needed a base for our trip to badminton horse trails and Easter Cottage was perfect. Our Husky was very safe in the beautiful courtyard garden. The locals were very friendly, it was like home from home. We will be back.

Easter Cottage was lovely, cosy, comfortable, and clean. Malmesbury is so picturesque with it's old Abbey providing the perfect starting point for lovely evening walks finishing with a great meal in the The Old Bell's restaurant. Malmesbury is also blessed by being so close to other beautiful towns/villages such as Bath and Castle Combe to name but two.

We enjoyed our weekend stay in this pretty cottage. Roomy bedrooms. Cosy lounge. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Fast shower. Clothes washing facilities in outbuilding. Lovely courtyard to relax and enjoy a coffee. Home from home.
March 2013
Easter Cottage is a delightful place to stay. In the centre of town close to all facilities, with a free car park just around the corner.
December 2013
We had never previously stayed in this neck of the woods but thoroughly enjoyed the experience, made even better by a week of superb summer weather and excellent accommodation, perfectly placed for a short stroll to the town centre and local pubs. The house was just like home from home, very comfortable and equipped with everything you would need, including a very entertaining CD collection. Some good walking in the local area and interesting places to visit such as the National arboretum, Lacock abbey, Cotswold Water Park and Cricklade. One thing to bear in mind is that you can't park right outside the house. This didn't cause us any problems at all but if you're not so mobile it might.
