Fig Tree Cottage not only met, but exceeded, our expectations. It was spacious, exceptionally clean and truly, a home away from home with all the necessary amenities. We loved the secluded garden and quiet location and will definitely return in the future. We highly recommend this property.

We thought Fig Tree Cottage was delightful; a perfect place for a family holiday! Our grandchildren loved the garden with plenty of space to run around in and play hide and seek! It was close enough to visit the many attractions in the area.

The peaceful location and the very high quality of the furnishings and fittings rates this cottage as one of the best that we have ever stayed in, and that includes stays across Europe, the United States and Australia. Its location provides easy access to virtually all the South West of England.

This is our second visit to Fig Tree Cottage and it did not disappoint. We had a very warm welcome and help was on hand if we needed it. The road to the cottage was very steep, but well worth the views. We will definitely return for a third visit.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful area. Great to be in a cosy house with all the family together with space to spread and rooms to share together. The downstairs shower room was a bonus for my elderly mother.

This is a superb Cottage fully equipped with everything you need. It has set high standards for any other place we stay in the future. The Cottage itself has a fantastic layout with a conservatory dining area so with us having young children we didn't keep them awake at night by gathering in here. The gardens are beautiful with spectacular views. There is a super BBQ, garden toys a washing line. We also made use of the washer/dryer. Laundering products were also provided along with complimentary bathroom items. The whole place was immaculately clean throughout.

An extremely comfortable cottage, well equipped, very clean and tidy. Sufficient space for everyone, with 3 very large and modern bathrooms. We particularly liked the dining conservatory and round table, excellent for eating and playing board and card games. The garden was large, very pretty and nicely maintained. BBQ facilities and garden games where also included. The cottage is situated in a rural, very quiet location and an area of outstanding nature beauty. Perfect for a family holiday as long as you have a car. A walkers paradise.

My elderly parents had the downstairs bedroom which was perfect. All the rooms are comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The garden was beautiful to sit in and it was lovely and quiet. The owners have thought of everything from an iron to the BBQ.
