A lovely, cosy, clean very well maintained cottage. In a very good touring location for North Wales. We thoroughly enjoyed our very comfortable stay at Fron Goed. Our hosts made us feel extremely welcome were not at all intrusive although our cottage was next door to theirs. We'd highly ( will do) recommend their cottage to our family friends.

The property was lovely. It is ideal if you want to do some climbing or walking, as everything you need is on the door step. Snowdon is about a five minutes drive to the train which takes you up to the top if you do not fancy the walk, and Llanberis is lovely. The owners are nearby if you need any help, but they leave you in peace and quite. I would have know problems in recommending this property to my friends.

Everything was lovely; the cottage was really clean and well maintained. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the milk tea and coffee was a lovely surprise. Its location was really handy for Llanberis and exploring the surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone.

The cottage is wonderfully furnished, a true home from home experience. The location of the cottage is perfect for hill walking, and LLanberis Village is just 5 minutes away by car and the views from Snowdon are amazing. The cottage is situated in a perfect location for exploring the wonderful coastline of North Wales.

The property has a beautiful and very private garden. It has good access to main road and is in a great location for seeing North Wales. The owners were very nice and welcoming. There is a great activity centre 10 minutes away in Llanberis. I really enjoyed kayaking with my family - well worth a try! Will definitely go back to Fron Goed, it was so clean and homely.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. In the middle of the week we were offered clean towels and any other items we may have needed. Also we were asked if we would like some new laid eggs from their chickens which were delicious.

Fron Goed is conveniently placed for exploring Snowdonia and North West Wales. It is welcoming and comfortable, and the owners did everything possible to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Although Fron Goed is situated just off a road, traffic noise was not a problem. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a cottage in a peaceful location but within easy reach of the area's many attractions.

So peaceful and quiet, with a well equipped kitchen. We'd happily stay there again and would recommend it to friends!
August 2016
We loved staying in Fron Goed cottage, even tho it was set back off the road we found it easily, there was parking for both our cars, we took my elderly mother with us so having the downstairs bedroom was great for her and also the bathroom being downstairs! I would say you'd definitely need a car to stay because it's a little bit out but we found most places to visit were within a 15 minute drive, the owners were very friendly
August 2014
Fron Goed was all I hoped it would be. It was beautifully presented, clean and comfortable, and completely catered for all our holiday needs. As a centre, it proved to be very good, with easy access to Anglesey, the west coast, and the mountains. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a base in the countryside. Despite the weather on our holiday being somewhat unpredictable and raining quite a lot, the moment we arrived at Fron Goed, we knew we had a warm, clean and comfortable place to stay. The owners of the cottage were extremely friendly and helpful and it was clear that they looked after the cottage. The only two issues we had, one of which probably would not have reveal itself had the weather not rained at all, were a leak in the conservatory at the front of the cottage and the smoothness of the stairs up to the second bedroom that were quite slippery if you were not barefoot or wearing shoes. Overall, we had an excellent stay in the cottage and send our thanks.
September 2012
A lovely place with a great location and a very helpful owner, all round the cottage was in a great condition felt like my own home would recommend to every one.
September 2012
Very friendly welcome when we arrived. Cottage very clean and comfortable and had everything to really make it home from home. Easy access to Snowdonia Railway. We had a really enjoyable stay and would highly recommed the cottage
November 2012
Fron Goed is a lovely cosy cottage, very well presented and in beautiful gardens. We were meet by the owners who were very welcoming . It is perfectly located for exploring the area, we visited castles and beaches, country parks and towns. We also spent time in the garden and the cottage, Caernarfon is only 20 minutes drive where there are supermarkets and places to eat out, you do need a car though, you can't really walk anywhere. We found the cottage a great size for us and our 1 year old as she could safely play in the main living area although the open staircase could be an issue for some. The cottage is on a main road and although set back there is no gate so you do have to be careful when outside with young children. We had a brilliant holiday and would definately go back.

We loved this place. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the owner and shown around. beautiful gardens to relax in and nice and cosy cottage, nice and clean also had everything you need. We had fresh milk left for us and there were laundry facilities that we could use. It was central to all the place's we wanted to visit in north wales.
December 2012
we stayed at FronGoed late September,The accomdation was very clean and everything you could need is in the cottage. As we was in late season,we did not have any bother with the main road as some reports said The owners were very helpful and pleasant, and the cottage was very warm .
August 2011
Beautiful comfortable cottage with a lovely garden. In the house and conservatory it was quiet and peaceful, however although the cottage is set back from the road it is a very busy a road and it was too noisy to sit in the garden. Otherwise a lovely location. Everything we needed and more were in the house and the family who own it were very friendly and accomodating.

A superb little cottage attached to the owners home. There are wonderful gardens with a small wood which my 2 year old loved running about. A great central location with Llandudno, Conwy, Canaerfon and Llanberis all within a 20 mile radius. Warm welcome from owners received and everything you needed was available.
