Location was good and the friendliness of people in Clun made an excellent destination. Views from the garden were great with outside seating to make full use of this. Lounge was cosy even though we did not need to use wood burner.

George Cottage suited us down to the ground. There were some lovely welcoming touches and we were able to walk and cycle straight from the house everyday. The situation of the cottage in Clun is convenient for great pubs, cafes and shops. The sound of the church bells across the road is a delight. We loved this cottage- it was not too fussy as it is set up for walkers, cyclists and dog lovers. It was perfect for us, with lovely beds, two bath/shower rooms and comfy sofas for the evening. Parking on the narrow lane could be tricky and so it was great to have our own parking area.

The area is outstanding, locals very friendly two good pubs and a very good touring location for Shropshire and Wales. Would recommend to friends and family

Lovely location. Very dog friendly (our greedy chocolate Labrador particularly liked the tin of dog biscuits). Our teenage children particularly liked having Netflicks on the TV.

The cottage was clean, with very good amenities. The positioning of the cottage at the edge of the village was convenient in this superb walking country. Overall we were quite comfortable and would stay there again.
