Glen Dessary description

Holiday home
This property is a chalet style building that's warm, welcoming and cosy. It's situated near Corpach in well-kept grounds and is in a prime position for looking out over the green landscape. The whole property is light, spacious and relaxing – a great spot to just kick back and let the world go by. The kitchen, which is fully equipped, is in an open plan style leading straight into the living and dining areas. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, and 1 bathroom.

Fort William and the surrounding area offers literally hundreds of different walking and cycling routes with varying levels of difficulty so whether you are a rambling pro or a novice bike rider they'll be something for you to try your hand at. The United Kingdoms tallest mountain Ben Nevis is also close by along with the Nevis Range Ski resort, which has a mountain gondola. If you're not keen on outdoor sports there are more leisurely pursuits to enjoy, including a tour of Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery, which of course comes with a complimentary whisky sample!

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

The scenery was wonderful and there were so many lovely places to go, the people were lovely too.
December 2009
The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful and made us feel very much at home. The chalet was comfortable with a good range of equipment. The only real complaint was a slight lack of storage space for luggage. Location was good as there were shops and restaurants within easy reach for everyday shopping and meals out in the evening. All in all we had a very enjoyable week.
Mrs Nelson

February 2015
Due to an unforseen event we weren't able to stay at Glen Dessary on our start date. Jennifer Campbell made every effort to find a replacement for us until we could move in. Whilst walking up Ben Nevis on the Saturday I even had a text message asking if we were OK? I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a stay in the area not too far away from First William itself but a nice setting.
Mrs Eastland

Beautiful setting with chickens, ducks and geese to greet you and freshly laid eggs in the mornings were delightful. The owners of the property were extremily helpful and catered our medical needs, taking delivery and storing some medial equipment prior to our arrival. The location of the property is excellent for exploring the west highlands and the islands.
