We really loved having everything on one level especially as we had a 2 year old with us, plenty of space for her to run around in safely! Powerful showers were fantastic and every room was really warm. The views were fantastic, waking up in the mornings to see all the sheep and lambs right outside!

The accommodation and location is lovely, with delightful views from every window giving perfect observation viewpoints of nature at its best. It was so relaxing watching the changing colours, the antics of Spring lambs, pheasant, rabbits, bird life etc and in particular birds of prey. This was our 2nd visit in 5 months and we look forward to becoming a regular visitor to Glentramman Lodge. The owners are absolutely wonderful, so helpful and friendly.

Beautiful location and the owners were really friendly. Our dog loved it! The Lodge is perfect and there was nothing that the owners didn't supply. The pub down the road serves lovely food and again so friendly and our dog was welcomed. One of the best British breaks we have had and hoping to revisit next year. 10/10.

This is truly a wonderful place that makes you feel miles away from the fast paced London life. Beautiful setting in long mountain, so relaxing. The Coast is just over an hours drive with views that will take your breath away! I will be visiting again later this year. Big thank you to the owners for building this amazing place so anyone needing a serious relax in the county can really chill out.

The view from the lodge was magnificent. The privacy was also pleasant and the owners were very friendly and inviting attending to any needs we had. We will be back again very soon :)

Stayed here for a week in September. The large living area, with high ceilings was a great place to relax by the wood burner but still be able to look out over the views. Remote but still within walking distance of a pub and a shop. The lack of WiFi, which we knew of in advance, was just a further way of really feeling like you were getting away from it all. A great standard of accommodation for a relatively low pice.

Huge airy living space. Well laid out. Ideal for family without feeling crowded Well-equipped. Log fire. Friendly owner. Neighbouring horses/donkeys/sheep (which the kids loved). Amazing views. Set off-road down a track and fairly steep gravelled access. Lovely area of the country.

We found Glentramman Lodge to be a haven of peace; a jewel set in idyllic countryside of rolling green hills with gentle heather-covered mountains and beautiful refreshing mountain-air. The surrounding area is a naturalist's paradise with rabbits, swallows, buzzards, foxes, badgers and sheep in abundance! The lodge itself was excellent in every way - comfortable, fully furnished, clean, warm and spacious, making for a wonderful base for walks and activities in the surrounding area of Mid-Wales and Shropshire. The owners were particularly helpful in making our holiday an enjoyable experience. Our fullest thanks to them and we wish them every success.
