The cottage was lovely and very well equipped. The welcome pack was a very nice touch and the dog treats were appreciated by our dog. We enjoyed the walks that we were able to do from the cottage. The pub was great and it served lovely food at a reasonable price. The internet access was very useful. We would like to come back and stay again some time in the future. We would recommend it to anyone.

It was the little things that made such a difference. A treat for the dog, fresh flowers, small bottle of champagne, chocolates and drink making facilities on arrival to name but a few. A lovely property, beautifully decorated, a stunning location. We would be VERY happy to recommend this property - one of the very best we have rented.

Being an ex-Yorkshire man, I felt extremely pleased to be back in what I call my home county. The views we had from the accommodation were very good, and the countryside we travelled through was out of this world. We felt very comfortable and relaxed and had a really good holiday.

All appliances were working perfectly including the wonderful central heating. Wonderful views of the hills and valleys with the woods, animals and stream all in close view. All in all, a very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well appointed holiday cottage. Full marks!

September 2011
The property was extremely well equipped and thought had been taken with extras left by the owners. There was good heating and hot water supplies. There were beautiful views from the cottage and the location was peaceful, even though it is near the road the traffic noise was not a problem.

We have been staying in this area at different holiday properties for 6 years now and none of the properties compare to this one. Hove Wood View is fantastic in terms of parking availability, views, location, cleanliness, design and available facilities. The owners are great - they don't leave out any do's and dont's and they let you get on with your holiday in peace. It is one of the most relaxing holidays we have had and we really felt at home. The owners left a fabulous welcome pack including fresh flowers, wine and free range eggs and our dog really liked the treat they left him - what a lovely idea! We would certainly like to book again for next year.
Mrs Newton

The property has a wonderful outlook and the owners made everything so welcoming for our arrival. The cottage had a lovely Christmas tree and treats were provided for the children which was the perfect touch, as was milk and eggs in the fridge! Everything was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm. We were very comfortable and enjoyed super walks and great food in the local pubs.
Mrs Ayrton
May 2011
The whole holiday was excellent, the cottage was 5 star. Very well furnished, lovely and clean, could not ask for anything else. Everything was there that you needed, a home-from-home. The owner was very nice too, we sat and had a nice chat.
Mrs Kennett

April 2011
Great location with good views, nice walks nearby and good local area. The cottage was new and we received a great welcome from the owners with some nice touches such as bottles of wine, milk and eggs left for us as well as small bags of toiletries. Cottage was nicely furnished and really comfortable.

January 2011
A beautiful home for the weekend with a great community pub and restaurant within walking distance.
December 2013
Bit difficult to find but on arrival we were greeted by the best welcome pack that we have ever received. Not too sure about the shared patio which robs you of an amount of privacy and the nearness of a busy road was of concern. Cottage itself was well modernized and very comfortable and some of the views were very appealing
February 2014
Lovely holiday let. Everything had been thought of and nothing was too much trouble. We went for my husbands birthday and on arrival there was a cake and wine as requested but also banners and a balloon. Wifi worked well but no phone signal, however a mobile phone was supplied. The information books left were very helpful. Spotlessly clean and all mod cons. Planning another visit when the weather is better.
Ms Banks
December 2010
The owners were most thoughtful and helpful hosts, the welcoming wine and chocolates were spot on and I appreciated having real flowers in the vase. I wouldn't hesitate to make a return visit and I will certainly recommend the cottage to friends.
June 2013
Hove Wood View is equipped to a very high standard, with comfortable beds and a lovely view from the back, across the valley. The nearby Hinchliffe Pub serves superb food and makes all guests very welcome (within walking distance for most). Tv, telephone and broadband signals work very well. You need a car, unless you're happy to take the bus (stop is nearby). The website photograph is slightly deceptive, as there is actually no grass at the back which children could play on. As a mature couple, we were perfectly happy with the terrace, table and chairs. Heating worked well. Be advised that the road at the back front of the property is busy during the rush hours - not something we had anticipated. However, it didn't really disturb us and we slept well. We will definitely return, as Hebden Bridge is a lovely town (5 miles) as is the area of Cragg Vale. Full of history!
August 2011
A beautiful cottage.Everything you need for a perfect holiday.Could not find any faults with the cottage.Lovely location.

May 2012
Very well equipped cottage. Warm and cosy. Plenty of space. Grandchildren enjoyed their stay also as did Charlie their dog who visited for a day. Charlie also enjoyed his treat.

October 2013
A couple of dozen geese in a neighbouring field made the only occasional noise we heard during our stay. The cottage was clean and very pleasant, and although some distance from Hebden Bridge, it was easy to get to. Highly recommended.
