The house was very warm with a luxurious bath - a necessity after long walks carrying a toddler on our backs. The neighbours were also very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent a lovely week in Joiners Arms. A delightful little cottage with everything anyone could need for a comfortable stay. A traditional pub ( The Punchbowl) serving good food is only a minutes walk down the road with a nice garden and lovely views. A village shop is only two minutes walk for essentials and there is a more 'gastro' type pub a few minutes drive away ( The Lunesdale Arms) with a varied menu. Lots to see and do and pleasant walks in and around the area. To add to our enjoyment there were swallows nesting in the eaves above the landing window and it was fascinating watching them to and fro from the nest. All in all a perfect holiday - and we had good weather too!
