Well equipped cottage, warm and cosy, upside down house which worked well and made for a interesting stay. Lovely cottage with a view over the countryside. A great overlooked area to explore with access to some great attractions like Lake District, Roman Forts, Waterfalls at Teesdale.

Keepers was lovely cosy, warm and comfortable. The views were outstanding. We spent every evening in the sun lounge, admiring the view. Good walks so much to see do in this area. The air is fresh clear. Fantastic holiday.

Keepers is a charming look back to a bygone era with some of the furnishings in keeping with the age and character of the property. The downstairs lounge area is a real asset to the cottage with great views over the surrounding hillsides and valley. The area around Keepers is generally unspoilt with light traffic even at the weekends, with some beautiful walks right on your doorstep. The alpacas in the neighbouring fields make an unusual but welcome sight.

Getting to our accommodation was fantastic, a wonderful surprise when you get there and it is lovely and warm. The views were amazing, we could have spent the entire time in the cottage.
