Kilimani description

Kilimani is a sumptuous detached house in one of the most exclusive areas of Torquay, offering a peaceful location close to the bustling harbourside.

This impressive property is impeccably presented and finished to the highest standard, whilst its innovative design and use of windows floods the house with natural light.

The harbourside, with its shops, bars and restaurants, is within a 5-10 minute downhill walk. En route is the Elephant Restaurant and Brasserie, one of the most stylish restaurants in the South West, offering fine food prepared by Simon Hulstone, a Michelin Star holder and winner of both the Roux scholarship and the World Chef Championships.

Torquay's own waterfront wildlife experience, Living Coasts, is also nearby whilst the sandy beaches of Torre Abbey and Meadfoot are within a 10 – 15 minute downhill walk.

All stays in Kilimani receive a welcome pack including chocolates and wine. Dressing gowns and complementary toiletries are provided. Even your pets will receive a warm welcome with a dog bed, bowl and treats all provided.

The kitchen has been innovatively designed to maximise space and light. Appliances include a gas range cooker, dishwasher, American-style fridge/freezer, drinks fridge and a washer dryer. A full range of utensils and accessories including a microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There is also a breakfast bar complete with four bar stools and a high chair. Entertainment is provided by a stereo system and a wall-mounted LCD TV complete with Sky TV. Patio doors give access to the terrace and garden.

Dining Room/Area

Living Room/Area

The living room is tastefully furnished and features distant views over the bay. Furnished with a four-seater corner group sofa, two matching three-seater sofas and a stylish glass coffee table. Features a wall-mounted LCD TV complete with Sky TV and a Blu-ray DVD surround sound system. French doors give access to the patio complete with a table and chairs, from there the views can be enjoyed.

Master Bedroom

A light and airy room with far reaching views over the bay. Access to the balcony complete with furniture - ideal for taking in the view over breakfast. Furnished with a double bed, two bedside tables complete with matching lamps, a chest of drawers and an LCD TV complete with a DVD player and Sky TV. There is also a dressing room with extensive storage space. The windows have blinds. En-suite to the master bedroom(no door fitted).

Bedroom 2

A spacious room offering views over the bay. Furnished with a double bed, two bedside cabinets complete with matching lamps, a large wardrobe and an LCD TV with access to Sky TV. The windows have blinds.

Bedroom 3

Bedroom three is located on the ground floor, adjacent to the main family bathroom and boasts views towards the sea. Furnished with two 3’ beds, bedside table with lamp and a wardrobe

Bedroom 4

Bedroom four is located on the ground floor and overlooks the gardens. Furnished with a single bed and a pull out trundle, bedside table with lamp, and a wardrobe. En-suite(no door fitted).

Family Bathroom

Located on the ground floor. The main family bathroom comprises bath, separate power shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.

Bathroom 2

Open plan En suite to Master Bedroom comprises bath with power shower over, twin wash basins and a WC.

Bathroom 3

En suite to Bedroom Two comprises power shower, wash basin and a WC.

Bathroom 4

Open plan En suite to Bedroom Four comprises power shower, wash basin and a WC.
