The people were very friendly and it was a great escape from the rat race. It was great to be able to go for walks and not hear a car or anything - the peace and quiet was priceless.

A beautifully cosy cottage in a peaceful and secluded location. We weren't disturbed by anyone, although the owner was on hand for help when we needed. The log burner was a lovely addition and we look forward to returning.

Lovely few days away from it all with lots of peace and quiet. Friendly host and warm welcome. Very knowledgeable about local walks. Host always available if needed but not intrusive. Leaving freshly laid eggs for our breakfast was a lovely touch.
