Limeslade Pet-Friendly Cottage description

Holiday home
Limeslade is a delightful cottage and is in the centre of three terraced cottages created from a barn conversion in the idyllic village of Laugharne, near Tenby, on the S. Wales coast and can sleep four people. The cottage has one double bedroom, two single bedrooms, a shower room, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting area with an electric fire. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed courtyard with furniture. Limeslade is a wonderful base for a family holiday to Wales.

Laugharne is famous for its associations with the poet Dylan Thomas and a visit to his Boathouse and the garage where he wrote most of his works is a wonderful experience. Beautiful walks in and around the castle, with views of the estuary, can be followed by cream teas in little tea rooms, a drink in the local pub or shopping in the gift shops and mini market. The nearby sandy beach at Pendine is where many land speed records have been famously set on its seven mile stretch of beautiful flat sand, and a little further afield are the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Storage heaters on ground floor with electric panel heaters in bedrooms and electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, iPod dock, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed courtyard with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk.

Great location, happy that the property allowed dogs. We had a lovely walking holiday and nice to return to a comfortable cottage.

The accommodation was excellent and the location was very good, the local people were very friendly. We have 2 dogs and everywhere we went in the area was very dog friendly, with access to pubs and restaurants no problem. We had a very enjoyable holiday.

The property was situated in a lovely village with surrounding coastline. This is a great part of the country with lots of bays to visit; Tenby and Saundersfoot were very pretty.

A lovely well appointed cottage with ample parking for two cars. All rooms were finished to a very high standard, especially the bathroom. It was near to all local facilities and some excellent pubs and restaurants. We would certainly go there again. Laugharne is also the ultimate dog friendly place!

We had a fabulous holiday. The cottage was in a perfect location with lovely pubs and shops within walking distance, as well as beautiful walks, and it was right by the park which was great for the children. We would highly recommend this cottage, it's fairly basic but clean and very comfortable with everything you could need for a great holiday, we will definitely return.

The cottage was very clean and well prepared when we arrived. The town is great with plenty of pubs and places to eat, even though it is quite small. Everything was great.

It was central for our needs, in a quiet location with lots of places to eat and drink. It was very dog friendly and the locals were very friendly too. Enjoyed the local bakery, the best bread and scones, yum.

We had a lovely winter break here on what turned out to be one of the coldest weekends this year. However we were cosy and warm with a fabulous log burner that was easy to light and lovely and warm to come back to after a day out in the lovely town and surroundings of Llandudno. The Cottage is situated in a small quiet village called Glanwydden about two miles from Llandudno. The bed was king size and very comfortable and there's asingle bedroom that had a fabulous terrace overlooking the surrounding countryside. I'm sure that in warmer weather it would be a wonderful spot to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine or morning coffee. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to produce a meal, although with a fabulous pub just two minute walk away in the village, we had some delicious meals out! Would definitely stay here again.
