Little Tree Cottage description

Holiday home
Little Tree Cottage is a beautiful, ground floor holiday property, a wing of the owner's home, set in the heart of the village of Addingham in Yorkshire. With two bedrooms, including one king-size double and one family bedroom with a double and single bed, the cottage offers very flexible sleeping arrangements for up to three people. There's also a shower room, a sitting room with a dining area and a kitchen. Outside, there is roadside parking on a first come, first served basis and a patio garden with furniture. Within a few moments are the many amenities of the village, including a golf course, while the National Park can be found close by for wonderful walking and cycling opportunities. Little Tree Cottage provides a fantastic romantic retreat.

The historic village of Addingham nestles in the the River Wharfe valley between Ilkley and Skipton, 3 miles from the Dales National Park at Bolton Abbey. In the Doomsday Book, Addingham is referred to as 'Ediham', which probably meant 'Home of Edi', the Earl of Bolton Abbey. Today's village thrives with several pubs serving fine ale and excellent food, a scattering of small shops and a delightful golf course surrounded by breathtaking countryside.

From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

We loved the village of Addingham and found the cottage was kitted out to a high standard. It is highly likely that we will return in the not too distant future.

The location was perfect. The cottage was beautiful, very tastefully decorated and the bedrooms in particular were beautiful with comfy beds and plush bedding. The kitchen was so well decked out with everything you could need. We loved this cottage and would highly recommend it

The cottage was very well presented and everything worked well, including the WiFi connection. There was plenty of hot water and heating for cold days. There was good size freezer compartment with the fridge. All the rooms were charmingly well decorated and everything was very clean. The noise from the road outside, which the owners mentioned, did not disturb us and we always found a parking place easily.

We stayed in the cottage for a fortnights holiday over the summer with 2 small children and it is well kitted out for a young family - all mod cons are provided and the upkeep of the property is to a high standard. The location is great within the village - pubs, restaurants and village shops are all a short walk away. It is also really well positioned for the Dales, with Ilkley, Bolton Abbey, Hesketh Farm Park and Billy Bob's Ice Cream Farm all close by - great for days out. I would definitely recommend for anyone else to stay here - we had a very relaxing time and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

My in laws stayed here when they came to visit for a weekend and it was just perfect. The cottage is a great size in a beautiful building. It has two big bedrooms as well as seperate kitchen, lounge and bathroom. It could easily fit a family of four in or more and have plenty of space. The outside eating area is beautiful, it was a gorgeous weekend and felt like we were eating our breakfast in rural france. A little gem in a pretty dales village and we will be recommending for all our friends to stay when they come visit.
