When we arrived, we were greeted by Steve and Eilleen, the owners. Very friendly people. Helpful and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. Good, honest people! When I asked how far the nearest shop was for a razor, Eilleen went out of her way to get me one from her house to save us an 18 mile trip!
Absolutely stunning place! We booked this weekend break and travelled as two couples with 2 dogs. Cabin in very spacious even with the dogs and the facilities are perfect. Everything you would need so it was like home from home!
Kitchen was kitted out with everything you would need to make decent dinners including cutlery, crockery etc.
Views from the French doors were stunning. So tranquil and quiet. The only noise was the noise we made and the odd sheep.
En suite bathrooms were better than my own at home! Plenty of red hot water and showers were great with good water pressure.
Being set in 19 acres, it was lovely to wander down to the river where the dogs had a swim followed by a toast by the log burner inside. Very cosy.
The hot tub was amazing. Even in the rain!
We went to Hafren forest which wasn't too far and equally breathtaking.
Overall it was a very welcomed break and we will definitely be returning. Hidden gem of Wales
