Ludham Quay is a spacious, 3-storey holiday home located on the River Bure with marina views. One of a small row of similar properties, it has free wi-fi, a fully-fitted kitchen, elegantly furnished dining room and tastefully furnished living room with patio doors leading to a sunny, glass-fronted balcony directly overlooking the River Bure. The rear outside door leads onto a private garden patio and private mooring, which is suitable for a day boat or ideal to fish from. Daily boats for hire at very reasonable prices are available close by and the fishing, in season, is very rewarding. A perfect waterside setting, suitable for families and couples. Sit and relax on the south-facing balcony, watching the boating activities; it is an ideal base to explore the famous waterways. The Broads are a haven for wildlife and a must for any bird watching enthusiast. Daily boat hire and fishing (in season) are also available locally. The Bure Valley Steam Railway runs from Wroxham to Aylsham and for children, a great day out is to be had at BeWILDerwood, an outdoor adventure park just 1½ miles away which is perfect for children, and their parents or grandparents alike. The fascinating town of Wroxham is just 3 miles away and apart from the shopping, restaurants and bars, Wroxham Barns is another lovely attraction. National Trust properties, such as Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are well worth visiting, or alternatively the city of Norwich is just 12 miles away with its cathedrals, museums, theatres, array of shops and cafes/restaurants. The coast is just 10 miles away. There is an indoor heated swimming pool (mid-April to September) just 110 yards away, with cafe/restaurant and fish and chip shop adjoined. The nearest beach and seaside resort of Yarmouth is just 10 miles distant. Shops providing all daily needs are only 800 yards away, the nearest welcoming pub/restaurant on the river is just 350 yards.
