In a secluded, charming setting and with a pleasant countryside outlook, Millgrove House stands detached within spacious grounds and offers superb well-equipped family accommodation for the discerning holidaymaker. Individually designed, with a beautifully-presented interior, it benefits from a covered heated swimming pool with a hopper profile floor, set in a large sun terrace complete with loungers and barbecue. The thoughtful owners have also added charming extra touches including bathrobes, offering guests home from home comforts.
The large, well equipped kitchen has an electric rangemaster, solid oak units and a TV, and there is also a utility room with washing and drying facilities. There are two double bedrooms on the ground floor, as well as a shower room and separate toilet. The dining room seats 12 around the large table, and the spacious living room has an open fire in a Minterstone fireplace, Sky TV and four sofas, providing plenty of seating for everyone. Leading from here is large conservatory/games room which has a pool table, sofas and a TV.
On the first floor there is an exceptionally light landing leading to four bedrooms, which all have zip and link beds (can be double or twin) and TVs. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room, and the three further bedrooms share a large family bathroom.
The large garden offers a good degree of privacy and has a good sized patio with furniture and a BBQ. Within the grounds, children are well-catered for with a lawned play area with swings, a slide and table tennis.
Just outside the county town of Taunton, the holiday property is conveniently located, with the town offering a wide range of shops, restaurants, sporting a wide range of facilities and entertainment opportunities in the local area. Close to the Quantock Hills, there is excellent walking to enjoy, golf nearby as well as horse riding. This accommodation requires sympathetic consideration of a neighbouring property. Within easy reach are Exmoor and the north Somerset coast, as well as Minehead, Watchet, Blue Anchor and the excellent beaches on the north Devon coast. Other attractions of note include the West Somerset Steam Railway, the National Trust properties of Dunster Castle, Barrington Court and Montecute House, as well as Hestercombe Gardens, Glastonbury, and Wells Cathedral.
