April 2010
Lovely weather beautiful views and accommodation that was very very nearly perfect. Add to that a good welcome and I could ask for no more.
Aug 2009
Very well kept cottage, lots of little extras that helped make the stay enjoyable.
April 2009
We enjoyed our stay at Dove Cottage which was above our expectations. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. We could see the Cumbrian mountains in the distance, and the sea from our bedroom window. It was in an absolutely fabulous location and would definitely go back.
April 2009
Close to the beach with lots of good walking paths.
Jan 2009
The cottage was finished to a high spec and was well presented. On arrival the owner met us at the cottage with a welcome tray of tea and biscuits. We will definitley go back again.
March 2007
Lovely quiet and peaceful location and the cottage had everything you could possibly need.
Feb 2007
The cottage was very comfortable and homely.
March 2007
A nice quiet spot with better than the average weather for the area.
June 2012
The cottage was compact and would only have room for two people. It was clean and the owner was welcoming.
Sept 2011
Small cottage, comfortable and well furnished.
Sept 2011
The cosiness of the cottage more than made up for the inclement weather and the proximity to the sea was great - we can only imagine how much better it would have been with less wind and more sun! Our host greeted us with a kettle on the boil for a welcome cup of tea and we knew that help was always at hand should we need it. The situation made exploration of the area easy as well as enabling us to visit and walk along Hadrian’s Wall, a life-long ambition.
