We stayed in this property 4 times during the 1980's, until our family became too large for the accommodation. This was our first return since then, and the experience lived up fully to our expectations. The property had been upgraded substantially and was very comfortable. The views and the quiet of Letterfearn remain unchanged. If you are looking for an escape from the stresses of the modern world this is the place to go.

Lovely setting, a perfect get away from the rat race. It is quiet and well off of the busy roads.

The people were very welcoming and the house was in a good location for visiting places. The view was very good, it was a good place to go fishing and it was not far from the Eilean Donan Castle.

My families stay at this cottage exceeded our expectations. We will always remember the spectacular scenery and the hospitality of our host, who shared with us the history of the area and some of his experiences as a life long resident in the community.

Excellent location, somewhere just beyond the far side of nowhere. Superb views. It rained every day. This scenery is at its very best when it rains. Lovely vase of flowers and a box of chocolates to meet us.

We had three weeks with our dog at the Old School House in Letterfearn. It is a very comfortable house in a beautiful location. The owner who lives next door is very kind and helpful, there were flowers and chocs there for our arrival. The garden is full of birds and we were visited most evenings by a pine martin!
