A spacious cottage full of light, Pandia is a former coach house built in 1705. It stands detached in 3 acres of gardens with immense rhododendrons, camellias and beech woodland, once visited by Queen Mary. Pandia is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and walkers, children and dog lovers will love the opportunities for strolling in beautiful, peaceful Cornish countryside right from the doorstep, as well as exploring the grounds which are lovely at any time of the year.
Pandia is perfectly situated for the charming fishing villages and gorgeous exotic gardens of the south coast, and the magnificent sandy beaches, surfing and cliffs of the north coast. Cyclists will adore the Camel Trail, Lanhydrock House (National Trust) and Cardinham Woods. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy pony trekking, fishing, kayaking, stately homes and gardens, and many other attractions.
As soon as you walk into Pandia you will appreciate its lovely character, with exposed timber beams dating back to the 16th century, paintings and pottery by Cornish artists, and beautiful items from around the world. Vases of fresh flowers add a touch of seasonal colour.
The cottage provides open plan living accommodation downstairs with a comfortable living area featuring an open fireplace. There is a well-equipped kitchen and dining space which opens out on to the private lawn and garden with garden furniture. This is a great area for relaxing, sipping a drink and listening to the birds whilst planning your next day’s adventure. The open-tread staircase leads to the three cosy bedrooms and the bathroom.
