Ann- Anchorage, Alaska
Sept 2012
Our trip to Ireland was made perfect with our stay at this lovely house that is nestled amid the serene and scenic farmlands and rolling hills in the south-west coast of County Kerry. The house is immaculately clean, modern, very comfortable, elegantly decorated, and has lots of space. The owners are very friendly and have wonderful ideas about things to do, and places to see. The house is less than two miles from the lovely village of Waterville. Waterville has wonderful restaurants, café's and old-fashioned pubs where you can enjoy a superb pint of Guinness. There is a choice of two 18-hole Golf Courses in Waterville, a beautiful beach for long walks or horseback riding and wonderful lake and ocean fishing. From Waterville, which is on the Ring of Kerry, you can do day trips to historic and beautiful places, including The Skelligs, Killarney, Dingle and the Blasket Islands. (Don't miss The Skelligs for its history and beauty). Also, there are many charming bays and small beaches to explore within easy driving distance of Waterville. When evening falls, you will surely enjoy relaxing with your favorite beverage and watching the setting sun from the beautiful, sunny, west-facing atrium of this perfect holiday home. We plan on going back and staying longer.
