Area Situated in the lower reaches of pretty Wensleydale and alongside the River Ure is the historic little market town of Masham. With both a Wednesday and Saturday market in its huge market square, this little town is set in gently rolling farmland amongst a wide range of walks throughout the area. The most well known of these is perhaps the recently reopened ten mile walk along the River Ure, renowned as being one of the best walks in the country. Home to the popular Black Sheep Brewery which now brews 11 million pints of beer a year, the town is also home to a good range of crafts, galleries, shops, restaurants and pubs. With the popular towns of Ripon and Harrogate just an easy drive away, there's a lot to see and do in this wonderful area.

It was a last minute decision to book the cottage and my wife and I were delighted with the specification and location. A lovely accommodation in the perfect spot would highly recommend this cottage.
An excellent situation in the village. The property was extremely clean and had a good open plan kitchen.
Nice property, nice town, friendly people, good pubs serving good food, plenty of places to visit.
It was in a good position in Masham.
Our cottage was perfect, clean, homely and spacious in a quiet setting.
Masham was a very relaxing and welcoming place. We will definitely return. A lovely place for walking, drinking and eating.
We liked the privacy and the central situation to the village and the Dales. The housekeeper was very helpful. Having 2 TVs was a bonus. We will definitely book again.
Beautiful area, Masham good centre to explore from.
The location in the village of Masham suited our needs very well, we used it as a base for access to the Dales. The weekend was a celebration of my wife's 50th birthday and friends and family joined us. We had the Post House as well as Pilgrim's Cottage and both properties served us admirably.
