The house was very conveniently situated for all the local attractions. Gorgeous walking, the extreme canyoning, bounce below and the zip wires were a big hit with all the family. More than enough space for 10 - 12 people in the living and bedroom areas. The open fire was great for damp cold evenings.

A large group of us stayed over new year, there was plenty of room for everybody in the living area and kitchen. All the bedrooms were great, cosy without being small. There was a large sized hallway/wet room which was great for coming in after a walk out with the dogs! It had all the facilities and amenities we could possibly need. The views around the location are amazing, with plenty to do from the doorstep. A great find!

Stayed for 4 nights in July for a friends 30th birthday. The lodge is perfectly situated, located directly opposite Zipworld and Bounce below. The lodge is fully kitted out with everything you could need with a fantastic garden. There was plenty of room for each couple to have their own room and I had the best sleep i've had for sometime. You can also access one of the Snowdon paths within a 1 minute drive. Overall we hd a great stay, will certainly us again and would definitely recommend to friends.

I stayed at Stiniog Lodge/plaswaenydd Lodge for a week with a group of British and French friends. It had been booked as Plaswaenydd Lodge which caused confusion when we arrived late at night to find only Stiniog Lodge on the sign. Very comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. All as stated in the description. Some little niggles (e.g.lamps not working) but rectified very quickly. Main problem was that the only bathroom was ensuite and the not brilliant shower and toilet were downstairs, along a corridor - a problem for 9 retired people with the usual nightime needs. You need to be fairly fit to use the mezzanine beds. All in all, though, a very good place to stay, ideal for a large family with teenagers. Lots of activities close at hand. All shops etc in nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog. Very quiet.

It is very close to all amenities. The cottage was a good size for twelve people and the owner was very friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10.
