A warm greeting welcomed us to this splendid, well equipped and immaculate holiday home. In easy reach of York, Pickering and the North Yorkshire Moors. Care is needed on some of the narrow roads.

Had a wonderful holiday at this lovely Yorkshire village. The cottage was lovely and very quiet which allowed a good night sleep after a long day. If you like peace and quiet and nice walks this is the place for you. It is a good location for all the places you would like to see, ie York, Flamingo land and Ape land for the kids, also train connection to most of all the surrounding areas. Malton has all your shopping needs which is only a 5 minute drive. Plenty of places to eat plus delivery if required. Was a great holiday.

This cottage is an absolute gem. We comfortably fitted in with a toddler, baby and dog for a family holiday. It's a family run business and the proprietor's son really helped us out on our first evening with an informative chat about places to go in the local area.

The cottage was more than you could ask for. It was well presented, comfortable and was really well equipped. It had beautiful surroundings and was quiet and relaxing. It's in a great location for York, Scarborough and Whitby, the lovely Castle Howard and Eden Camp is well worth a visit too. The owners were welcoming and very helpful. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

I had a lovely break. The owners were very friendly and approachable. The accommodation was perfect in every way. The wi-fi worked really and and I could tell that the owners take a great deal of care attention over every small detail. I felt like I was the first person to stay there! It was spotless.

I've stayed here 3x now for long weekends. Neat, clean, well equipped little cottage. Easy to manage. Large bathroom. Great shower. Outside is pretty with planters full of colour. Only slight negative is the poor reception on the WiFi which you need to be a contortionist to access.
Mrs Bizien

Most importantly was the location and secondly for us was the peace and quiet. I would certainly consider using that property again if I was going back to North Yorkshire.
