San Therese description

Holiday home
San Therese is a very spacious and stylish detached holiday home, half a mile from the seaside village of New Quay, close to Flaggy Shore, in County Clare. There are two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite, a twin room also with en-suite, and a family room with two double beds. There's also a bathroom and shower room. There is a spacious kitchen with island, dining area for 6 and wonderful sea views. There is also a snug sitting room for 6 with an open fire. Outside, there is a gravelled sitting area with views over the shoreline, and off road parking for 4 cars. With this lovely coastline on the doorstep, and the attractions of Clare and Galway within an easy drive, San Therese makes a great Irish destination.

New Quay is a small village on the County Clare coast, with a sandy beach and the renowned Flaggy Shore. New Quay also has a seafood shop, art gallery and Lobster Bar. Visit Kinvara or Ballyvaughn, play around of golf on one of the many local courses, or head to the Cliffs of Moher, Burren National Park or Galway City.

County Clare has so much on offer; boat trips, quirky pubs, seaside resorts and a great tradition for Irish music, all set amidst spectacular scenery such as the towering Cliffs of Moher and the fascinating landscape of The Burren.

These accommodations exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend San Therese to anyone. If we were to return to Ireland in the future, I would love to stay here again. We had great views of the bay. It was centrally located on the west coast of Ireland. On a scale from 1 to 10, I would give this place 11.

The house was fantastic for a group of us with enough room for us all to spread out and relax. The views of sunset over the estuary each night were beautiful.

Beautiful accommodation with impressive views of the Atlantic Ocean. The property was very large with all modern appliances. Love both the log burner in the lounge and oil burner fire in the kitchen/diner. The washing machine and tumble dryer proved to be very useful. Enjoyed having access to Sky TV and the owner was helpful in finding the property and welcoming us.

The location was superb for exploring western Ireland. Positioned on the line between Clare and Galway counties, we had easy access to Galway and Connemara to the north, and the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and other points south. We took full advantage!

I would recommend Hogans to my friends, loved the property and its location. Once again, Ireland impressed me and my companions.
