Very close to the town centre but set in a quiet residential street with off street parking, Sea Breeze is a light and airy first floor holiday apartment, which offers a great base whether you want to explore locally or venture a little further afield. Cromer itself has all the facilities that a good town should have along with lots of things for tourists to do and explore. The traditional promenade leads to a wide, sandy beach with a pier that still offers seasonal shows. Add in a wide range of artisan and traditional seaside shops, plenty of places to eat, entertainment arcades and Amazonia Zoo and you’ll see why Cromer is such a popular destination. There are great public transport links, with a rail route to The Broads, where you can hire a launch or join a boat tour and Norwich, with its Medieval streets, Norman Castle and numerous museums. For a change of scene, you can also take the coast hopper bus which offers great views from the top deck. Just along the coast, and also accessible by train and bus, lies the bustling market town of Sheringham with it’s pretty shingle beach and the opportunity to watch the sun rise and set over the sea, which is unique for Norfolk. An old steam railway runs coastally to the picturesque town of Wells-next-to-Sea, with it’s picturesque quay and narrow gauge railway. Wells is well worth a visit a and you can easily spend a day there, but the journey by steam is almost a destination in itself. Famous for its vast collection of rhododendrons and azaleas, Sheringham Park has over 1,000 acres of coastal and woodland walks and offers an array of wildlife. Cley Marshes is close by too and you will quickly see why Norfolk is often described as England’s capital of bird watching. There are numerous National Trust Properties and Stately Homes in the area, Blickling Hall being the closest. It is said that nobody ever forgets their first sight of the Blickling Estate with its red-brick mansion and ancient yew hedges so it’s well worth a visit, and, with gentle or bracing walks to choose from, along with great cycling routes, fishing and golf close by, you can see why Cromer is a year round destination and why, with Sea Breeze, you have picked a great spot for a holiday.
