We stayed here for a relaxed new year's break. We loved the open fire and furnishings in the living room, and the house had so much character.

Our holiday was fantastic due to the wonderful farmhouse, we had comfortable beds, everything was luxurious, and the owner could not have been friendlier or more welcoming, we were even given an unexpected welcome pack. My youngest son said this is the best holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in and he was right. We did not mind the rainy days as the farmhouse was so great.
Mrs Hawner

Nice House and nice grounds around the house.

The property was very nice, we liked the security of the electric gates and the setting was peaceful relaxing. We were able to visit a lot of places near to the farmhouse with easy access to the A20.

Nice spacious period property, detached. Plenty of parking if you have more than one car and the electric gates were a nice feature. Lots to do in the area, very near the lovely village of Lenham and not too far to Hever Castle (highly recommend a visit to both of these), Canterbury, Whitstable and outlet centre in Ashford.

Everything about the property was great. The remote controlled electric gates made us feel safe. The space around outside was wonderful. We enjoyed spacious lawn with garden furniture, the pond with the boat and having the friendly sheep in the adjoining paddocks.

We enjoyed being together as a family in the one place. We also enjoyed the log fire and the older features of the property.

Booked this delightful house for Christmas, together with the cottage in the same grounds, so that the whole family could be together. We had a fantastic time. The house is so full of character. It has been renovated to a high standard. The kitchen, in particular, is a pleasure to work in. I cannot recommend this house highly enough. The surrounding area is lovely and it is a brilliant base to explore Kent from, or to simply stay in and enjoy the perfect break.

Log burning fire in the lounge with logs supplied. Location of cottage with easy access to north downs for country walks to local pubs. Overall ambiance of cottage with exposed timbers.
September 2016
We just loved the place, so quiet away from the noise of any town. It was easy to find and the surrounding walks can be just outstanding if you're up for such activity.
