The mezzanine bedroom has a large double size bed and two stylish bed side tables and lamps and a large chest of drawers. There is a comfortable brown suede easy chair on this level and a chest for further storage.
The contemporary white and blue bathroom is upstairs on the Mezzanine level, it has a full bath with shower attachment, mirror, vanity basin and toilet. There is a separate toilet downstairs as well.
The living area is spacious and very airy due to the high ceilings of the apartment. There is a 32 inch flat screen TV with English speaking news channels and a DVD player and complimentary Wifi. After a hard day of exploring the Old Town there is no better feeling than sinking into the comfortable leather 3 seater sofa. The lounge area also has a fan which is a real blessing in the hot summer months.
The modern maple and cream kitchen is in a separate area which has a fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, grill / oven and a four ring hob. It is fully equipped with a kettle, cafetière and a large selection of cooking equipment.
There is a contemporary glass and steel dining table, ideal for two people to enjoy a romantic meal and a refreshing glass of the local Rose wine.
As this is one of the historical hand-painted listed buildings of the old town, the mairie (town hall) does not permit air conditioning units to be fixed to the outside walls, as it would ruin their classic appearance. However, fans have been provided upstairs and downstairs to offer relief on those hotter summer days. Iron & ironing board, hairdryer.

Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go car park just further up on Blvd Jean Jaurès and also an underground car park at the Place du Palais, the entrance is on Rue Alexandre Mari. The Old Town is the most popular area amongst tourist to Nice. Dating back to the 14th Century, it is a mystical maze of narrow streets and alleyways where you can sample some of the finest cuisine on the Riviera in the multitude of restaurants, brasseries, cafes and bars that you'll find on any of the quaint little sidewalks. Amongst all of the hustle and bustle is a plethora of museums and galleries that will keep any culture vulture well fed and satisfied. The famous Cours Salya flower market, with its incredible fresh produce and mouthwatering local delicacies is less than a 4 minute walk away from the apartment and the promenade des Anglais and main beach of Nice is only a 5 minute walk away. This is location, Location, LOCATION! Please be aware the streets of the Old Town can be vibrant and busy in the hotter summer months, so we advise when you book any apartment in the Old Town, if you have your windows open then there is the risk of some noise.
The 98 airport bus runs from the Airport through the centre of Nice and terminates in the Port. Bus stop 'Cathédrale - Vieille Ville' is your nearest bus stop. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a good 20 minute walk. But you can use the tram. Tram stop 'Opéra' is your closest stop. This is at the bottom of Rue de la Préfecture on Avenue Jean Jaurès. Taxis can also pick up/drop off at your request at Place du Palais, very close to your rental apartment.
