Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is the drama of Dartmoor, with rocky tors, wild ponies, exquisite walks, horse riding, fishing, cycling, falconry and golf at Bovey Castle’s award-winning course. Within 6 to 8 miles are the two picturesque villages of Chagford and Mortenhampstead, with historic inns, excellent pubs, tea rooms, curiosity shops, tennis courts and the Miniature Pony Centre. Visit Bigbury-on-Sea, 16 miles, Slapton Sands and Torcross, 22 miles, Dawlish, 15 miles with beach and nature reserve, or Torquay which is within easy reach. A visit to Burgh Island is a must.
