The location was nice and quiet, just perfect for the holiday. The local pub was also very friendly.

The owner was very friendly and helpful - a welcome basket of fresh bread, milk, home made cake, butter and eggs was there on our arrival. Everything in the property was new and comfortable. The locals in the pub were very friendly and entertaining and helpful with suggestions of where to visit. We had a great time and would recommend this cottage to our friends.

There was a welcome pack of fresh local produce left for us on arrival and the owner was there to greet us. The cottage was clean, spacious and well equipped. The village is very friendly with an even friendlier pub. Although we were only using the cottage as a base for hill walking and other touristy things it was nice to have somewhere to come back too to relax. The pub was a good source of local tourist information as was the owner who had made a folder of interesting places to visit. We would happily stay there again. We had a great holiday in a great cottage in a great village with a great pub.
