Stable 2 Beach Cottage description

Holiday home
Stable 2 is a semi-detached cottage on a working livestock farm, in the village of Llanbedrog on the Lleyn Peninsula. There are a double and twin room on the first floor, along with a family bathroom. Downstairs is a fitted kitchen with a dining area, and a sitting room with electric fire. With the beach a ten minute walk, and the delights of the Lleyn Peninsula all around, Stable 2 is a cosy Welsh property.

Llanbedrog is a small village that sits close to the sea as part of the Lleyn Peninsula. The beach here is extremely popular, benefiting from its southerly aspect. It offers huge expanses of fine sand with glorious views of Cardigan Bay. The shores are often visited by dolphins and porpoises and the sea is also popular for a variety of water-sports. Inland, the panorama is a stunning vista of rolling countryside and rugged Welsh hills. The Snowdonia National Park is within easy access, offering around 82 square miles of unspoilt scenery, which houses a diverse range of flora and fauna. Llanbedrog village also has its own hidden gems, such as Wales' oldest gallery, the Oriel Plas Glyn-Y-Weddw Arts Centre and St. Pedrog's 6th Century church.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

The cottage was lovely, well appointed with everything you needed, provided. Well situated, it was in close proximity to the surrounding beaches and with easy access to the main road into nearby Abersoch. This cottage was ideal for us.

Being able to see the animals and get a real farm experience. Lovely, homely, warm, immaculately clean cottage with a very warm welcome. The owners were there when we needed them but unobtrusive.

Just returned from a 7 night stay in stable 2 and what a beautiful cottage. We are a family of 2 adults plus 2 children aged 4 years and 13 months and the property was perfect for us. The beds were comfy, linen and towels were in a great condition and the whole cottage was spotless! Enough crockery and utensils for us, it really was home from home. The cottage is on-site with the owners bungalow and their sons farm house, working farm behind the cottage (not that you would know, we were never awoken by the animals!) chickens and guinea fowl roaming free and Doris the pig in her pen nearby!! The kids loved it, especially the play area, which you could see from the cottage, with swings, slide and huge trampoline! The owners made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Llanbedrog beach is literally a 5 min walk away, Abersoch 10 min drive one way and Pwllheli 5 mins drive the other. We have stayed on the LLyn Peninsula a few times now in Nefyn, which we love, but with 2 young children we found this area more accessible. We will definitely return to this property and would highly recommend!!
