The location was fantastic - close to village amenities but quiet and rural. The veranda/decking area was perfect with a beautiful view. The gas barbecue was much appreciated and there was plenty of outside seating space for four people. Our landlady was friendly and very helpful.

Our week was definitely enhanced by incredible weather - and the decked outside seating area was just perfect, with a view to die for, overlooking rolling fields and hills with a few very relaxed-looking sheep! The road behind the lodge was close but not very busy and didn't spoil the peace and quiet. The lounge was plenty big enough for four adults and the kitchen was perfectly adequate as long as you took it in turns cooking, as it was a bit snug. The bedrooms were small and a bit cramped but we all slept well so what did it matter? The only thing that I missed was a lock on the bathroom door - it would have been OK for a family but four adults found they needed to do a lot of singing in the shower to avoid embarrassment! Our landlady was lovely and the lodge was well placed for visiting the whole of North Wales. Overall a great holiday and good value for money.
