We actually discovered Sunnyside Cottage for the first time this year in March and enjoyed our stay so much we returned in October too.
This cottage is maintained by the owners and you can tell, there's just a little bit more care that goes into getting it ready for guests arrival, no dust anywhere etc! Plus on both occasions we were greeted with a cute welcome basket, including bread, eggs and treats for our dog.
Loved the range cooker and we had all the amenities to cook as if at home, far too much time spent around the kitchen table in the evenings! That said, that was partly down to the fact we got the log burner going so well it was a bit too warm in the living room at points.
The cottage is in a lovely little village with a character packed (dog friendly) pub just a few doors along. Happy to recommend the Ship Inn, ate there a number of times including Sunday lunch but be warned do arrive hungry! The locals were really very welcoming too.
Muston is a great location for dog walking, we went across the meadows to Gristhorpe, parked at Reighton for a meadow walk to Hunmanby Gap and then a beach walk back. There are lots of locations to enjoy walks and pub lunches, if you choose to stay here so many are mentioned in the visitors book in the cottage.
We'll definitely be booking again.
