Just a few minutes’ walk from the popular village of Tarporley, this charming, detached, sandstone holiday cottage is ideal for couples wanting to explore all that the beautiful county of Cheshire has to offer including pretty villages, stunning gardens, welcoming country pubs, award-winning restaurants and a variety of attractions to suit all interests. Adjacent to the owners’ home, it is perfect for those who love the outdoors. There are lots of great walks in the area, including Cheshire’s popular Sandstone Trail and the Whitegate Way which is also popular with cyclists and mountain bikers. A spa and golf course is just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage and other activities available locally include horse riding and fishing. For the more adventurous, why not experience motor racing at Oulton Park, 4 miles, or a try a Segway experience at Delamere Forest, 8 miles, which also has a Go Ape treetop adventure park. The historic city of Chester, with its quaint buildings, excellent shopping, famous races and a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants, is just 11 miles away. The vibrant cities of Liverpool and Manchester can both be easily reached by car in less than 45 minutes. North Wales is also very accessible from here. Well-known coastal resorts such as Rhyl and Prestatyn can be reached in an hour and Llangollen is only 45 minutes by car. The young at heart will enjoy Chester Zoo, 12 miles, and Blue Planet Aquarium, 14 miles, whilst shoppers will love Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, 15 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
