The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable and every detail had been carefully thought about. The cottage was a very short walk from the village centre, harbour and steam railway. There was a good selection of places to eat in and nearby the village. All in all we had a varied and enjoyable stay.

The cottage was immaculate, beautifully furnished and equipped. We loved the log burning fire, really made our stay perfect. A very quiet and peaceful village, perfect for us having a few days away to chill and wind down.

The cottage was in a nice peaceful residential area just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour and all the amenities. It also had good off road parking with a designated space. The accommodation itself was very well equipped, clean, cosy, well furnished including a very comfortable bed. The owners had kindly provided a little welcome pack of milk, chocolate biscuits and orange juice for our arrival.

The Bakery was perfect in every way; well decorated, furnished, and equipped, and with the bonus of a bath which is often not available in small two person properties. Also we selected this cottage as it is close to the steam railway which for us gives the chance for a nostalgic train ride. Good walks close by too, and nearby shops, pubs and places to eat.

This is possibly one of the best cottages we've ever stayed in. There were lots of lovely personal touches - even the details of local events were tailored to our specific dates. It was truly a lovely place.

The accommodation and area were excellent. The Bakery is a credit to the owners. The cottage felt homely and welcoming and it is the little, personal touches made by the owners, that ensure that any stay there is special.

Super clean property in a great location for touring the area or for a quiet break. Pubs, fish chip shop, curry house, Chinese, 3 cafes a small co-op store were all within 5 minutes walk in the old fashioned seaside town with interesting history. Ordnance Survey maps guide books provided were a great touch that made our unplanned trip a real pleasure.
Mrs Morris

The cottage was beautiful, light and airy. We could have happily lived there. There were lovely places nearby to visit. The weather was so good we never had need to use the wood burning stove. A lot of careful thought had gone into kitting the cottage out.

The Bakery was a beautiful house. Your description and four ticks matched it perfectly. The garden was very pretty and as the weather was glorious we sat in it for most of the week. It had the sun all day long. The house was very clean and comfortable with an enormous bedroom. The kitchen had everything except a washing machine. It was only a couple of minutes walk to the shops and marina.
