Fantastic converted barn with a great lay out for a family get together. The kitchen and open plan lounge/dining room are great for spending time together but the property is so big it still feels really spacious. The views were fantastic, highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at The Barn with our family, nine in total and would highly recommend to large groups. It is furnished to a high standard and has everything you would need. There is so much space here, even with a large group you don't feel on top of one another.

The whole cottage was so light and spacious and the garden was perfect for our little dog to happily run around in with the children. The kitchen was outstanding; we had a lovely sitting room but everyone chose to congregate in the kitchen. It's pretty much in the middle of everything and there is always something for everyone. The views in the morning were incredible which my husband and friend, as photographers, particularly enjoyed! The log burner was a lovely touch and we enjoyed using that as well as enjoying the warmth from it whilst eating and relaxing in the sitting room.

We had a fantastic time and would certainly recommend this property to friends. It was really spacious - perfect for 2 families sharing. It certainly had the wow factor and was in fantastic condition. In a lovely rural area, perfect for complete relaxation, with some nice places to visit within easy reach. Wonderful!

The property was of an enormously high standard, it was wonderfully spacious and the showers AMAZING! Plenty of crockery etc and the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen in 15 years of renting holiday cottages. To date, the most luxurious holiday cottage ever!

A fantastic barn conversion in a brilliant location. Building offers luxurious facilities with great water bed. It is also very family orientated. Just brilliant. Cannot wait to go back. The property is a barn conversion which has been carried out to the highest standards. It is spacious and well equipped. The garden was great. There are many attractions near at hand, Llangollen, Ty Mawr Country Park, to name but a few, and Stan's Supermarket just down the road for all our supplies!

We really enjoyed the property, very good standard and the quiet location suited the occasion.
October 2016
We stayed here at the start of October, and were overwhelmed by the size of it, it will easy take a group of 10 people if the occasion arose. It has all mod cons, a log burning fire, a lovely garden with apple and pear trees, patio and bbq. There is wifi but it is quite slow, and the mobile networks on both EE and Vodafone aren't that good either, so ideal if you want to be cut off for a bit! The bedrooms are a fair size and one of the master bedrooms has an amazingly comfy waterbed. The property is in a very rural area, which we preferred as it was so quiet. Hint: if you are using a sat nav to get here from the North, DO NOT take the turn off at the Halton roundabout where the McDonalds is, as it takes you on a dirt track for a mile or so to get to the property, instead just carry on along the motorway on the A5 and come off on the B5070 for Saint Martins. The area isn't that far to take days out in the country and also for days to the city such as Chester & Liverpool.
